Description
William Veres is in trouble. He's been arrested following the largest ever investigation by the Italian police’s art squad. They accuse him of running an $40 million art-smuggling ring with ties to the Sicilian mafia – charges that could get him jailed for 20 years. But Veres has a plan to get out of trouble. He strikes a deal with Italian police: if he can help them solve the coldest cold case in the history of art theft, they will help him in his own case. The theft in question is that of Caravaggio's Nativity – a masterpiece stolen from a Sicilian church five decades earlier. In this episode we follow Veres as he begins his quest. It is a journey that will take us into the dark heart of the most famous criminal organization of them all: Cosa Nostra.  All four episodes of The Professor are out now.
