Thank you SO SO much for this. As a practicing artist who got through just one year of art school…where we learned about all these male artists separately from their work, this has meant so much to me. Helen Molesworth was the PERFECT person to host this podcast. This story has touched me and broken me wide open.

The narrator contradicts the very importance of the wife’s art by the end of the first episode. The pioneer female artists of earlier movements Fluxus, dada & on were the actual groundbreaking mavericks in what is art. Social climbing is an art too but doesn’t have a legacy.

I’m sorry but it feels a bit racist to draw the “good guy/bad guy” line while mentioning the ethnicities of those involved. If he were black would the host be bringing up his race when discussing probable guilt? How about considering evidence and not race when investigating a crime? Crazy...Read full review »
