Brilliant and thoughtful storytelling
This podcast is a truly powerful and provocative reflection on artist Ana Mendieta’s life, work, and of course… But what makes it stand out is Helen Molesworth’s determination to scratch at all the uncomfortable difficult stuff underneath. Not just Mendieta’s murder but the silence surrounding ugly histories in general, the comfort felt by many of the cultural standard bearers in perpetuating that silence - thus creating complicities, whether intentional or no. And woven through everything… Ana. Ana’s vision. Her youth. Her promise.

So far sounds like an opinion in search of facts. Very slanted, but will finish. Nice production. Lots of unbiased public info available, so good context.

Feminists rever Solanas who shot Warhol. He also died from GI problems from the shooting. If she is not cancelled then Andre should not. The narrator is incredibly annoying and repetitive.

As women. This man was NOT GUILTY. you should all be ashamed for making this series. It’s disgusting. I’m ashamed to be a feminist in that I might be associated with this type of full-scale harassment of a person found INNOCENT, but who happens to be a man.
