“1st time listener and I must say that I really enjoyed the show and how you guys get after it! I gave you 4 out of 5 Stars! Ok, It’s not the optical camera gear that’s the problem. It’s the proximity to the shot and the angle. It’s easier to maneuver your way to the next shot (photo not throw)when ur closer to the action. If ur 50’ away you’ll probably move up to 50’to get to your next spot. If you’re 100’ away, you’ll have to move up to 100’ to get the same angle. That’s a lot of extra running, In addition, you now have to run thru the fans (is it called a gallery?) to get to ur spot. And if ur preferred elevation from 50’ away is 10’, from 100’ you would need a 20’ hill. It’s Maths. (English) The fix to the elevation problem could be like an off-road OSHA ladder. You know what would be cool? One of those cool heavy duty treehouses with an observation deck to shoot from. Sorry, the edibles have kicked in and I tend to go off topic. The Photo team is just trying to get the best possible coverage for the fans. It’s so much easier to follow the action when ur close in with a wide angled lens that easily focuses compared to the longer focal length of the lens. I’m not even a nerd and I know that! Now the broadcasting signal quality, WIFI and anything non photo related is a different issue. Your show got me all riled up! It’s just not the optical camera gear. Boom!
Thanks for the show!”
