Deep, insightful, surprising
I subscribed to this thinking it was going to be adventurous two dimensional war stories: derring-do and all that. In fact, to my surprise, it’s a multi-faceted analysis of what it means to be a soldier in the modern world, both for the those that serve, and their families. Absolutely riveting, emotional, and completely essential for anyone who wants to understand what being in the military is really like and the impact it has on all involved.
