“I have listened to all the episodes now in one evening! These are stories like the ones I heard as a child taking classical piano. The scale of the music makes the stories important and the stories make the music important.
I want to hear about Bach, and Bizet, and Grieg, and Chopin, and Satie, and Mompou, and Mendelssohn, and maybe something from Couperin, Boccherini, Vivaldi. And Spanish composers. On my! Rodrigo, Albeniz, and all the guitar concertos. I like Benjamin Britten, too, but know nothing about him. Stravinsky caused a riot they say. Tell us about Gershwin. And please, anyone else I never heard of before!
