Relatable and thought provoking
I didn’t know this was missing from my life. It feels so validating to know that other people went through so many of the same things I did growing up in church and now have some distance to deconstruct it critically, even though it’s somewhat lighthearted. It’s like the grown up version of Good Christian Fun. I love it, and if I lived close by, I’d want to buy the hosts a cup of coffee and discuss all the insane things we once considered perfectly normal and healthy.

Karen and Bonnie have such an amazing way of making light of some pretty deep dysfunctional topics and make you laugh at the absolute absurdity of it all. They are educated but so down to earth that you feel you are just hanging out and having coffee with them, which I would LOVE to do! Girl Power!

These ladies sound like the women that taught Sunday School/Bible study/Women’s Groups in the church that I grew up in. Hearing them swear and roast all the religious crap that I grew up in is very healing to my exvangelical heart. I love this show!
