Funny and irreverent
As an exvangelical for almost 10 years now, this podcast is nice because it’s a lighthearted break from the outrage and injustice I felt after being repeatedly hurt by the church. The hosts seem to have emerged from evangelicalism fairly unscathed, so if you’re looking for a strong, serious critique, this isn’t it. It’s just a place to hang out and listen to funny or absurd stories about Christianity. I actually wanted them to be more critical of the Duggars and some other topics than they were, but like I said it’s not really that kind of podcast. The fact that their voices and accents sound almost identical to the Southern Christian women I grew up around makes it even funnier to hear their irreverent comments. The hilarious lettersodes where they read and discuss emails from listeners are my favorite.

5 Stars! Who knew hot ladies could be so interesting! I hope Bonnie and Karen start a cult. I’m ready to sign over my 401k. Deconversion Therapy is to podcasts as vaccines are to humans. Without it, people are uninformed and sick. I love this podcast, and recommend it to everyone I know....Read full review »
