Thanks for the introduction, Megyn!
I have been an avid follower of Megyn Kelly for many years. A couple of days ago, she introduced the world to you, her wonderful husband. I have since listened to three of your podcasts, and am amazed at the immediate quality and ability that you bring to what must be a new field for you. It is as though you have been following the likes of Joe Rogan and others for years. The enjoyment I get from hearing about the writing process of my favorite authors is beyond explanation. I am a social scientist who has been writing research articles and book chapters for years. When I was younger, I began writing poetry and have since written more than 1000 poems. I continue to write them to this day. I have recently decided to make my first attempt at a novel. I have repeatedly had problems with the creative process. Several authors that I have listened to through MasterClass and other means have suggested writing every day. I’ve heard from you and from Jennifer Egan the value of writing by hand on paper. My experience since beginning to do that, while new, has been very positive. I look forward to learning many more techniques and have the long-term goal of being on your fifth anniversary show as an up-and-coming best selling author. Thank you for showing us the lives of the real people that create amazingly beyond real people for us to enjoy. Darryl

More reviews of Dedicated with Doug Brunt
Really enjoying this podcast so far. It is fascinating to hear the authors discuss how they came to writing and what their process is, and the host does a really job job of drawing their stories out conversationally and then listening. Looking forward to more episodes.

Thank you, Doug Brunt, for bringing forward a podcast that dives deep into the process, life story and insights of writers without the pretense and snobbery. Too often I end up at author events where the interviewer and subject are trying to “out do” each other with obscure literary references...Read full review »

Will be adding this to my list of podcasts to listen to. Always interesting to hear from the authors I love to read. Some suggestions for future guests: Jack Carr, Mark Greaney, Carl Hiaasen, Brad Thor, Alex Berenson.
