Over the ten-year period ending in 2023, more than 100-thousand Chinese individuals have left their homes for the country’s westernmost region – Xinjiang. On top of the evident transformations, the autonomous region is positioned to continue benefiting from the country’s strategy as a pivotal regional hub.
