Walks a tightrope daily to make an excellent podcast
If you are trying to cover US politics, finding a balance between the distorting effects of liberal despair and the journalistic default setting of both sidesing any given issue is a tricky challenge. This podcast does so pretty much every day. Successfully. There are even occasional outbreaks of righteous anger which is a big no-no in American journalism. Yet if ever there was time when that is justified, it is right now.

Loved and listened to every episode of The E.R., and was so disappointed to see David Rothkopf depart. I could not be more thrilled to find out that they simply changed venues!

This is a great podcast for people who want to hear current events chewed over in an informative way. Occasionally they talk over each other, or have a cackling laugh track that is annoying, but if you can get passed those things, this podcast provides insights with the appropriate amount of snark.
