Call the Federal Student Aid Information Center ( 1-800-433-3243 ) Script for calling your loan service provider to look into refunds on loan payments that were made during the freeze: “Hi, my name is _________ and I am eligible for a student loan payment refund due to the CARES Act. I’d like my payments made from X date to X date refunded. Can you please help me with this? What other information do you need?”
