There is plenty to critique about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its members. But I think this particular take is nonsense. If we made a spreadsheet of every single specific denomination that some psycho belong to I bet you find very similar ratios across the board. Any belief, including atheism, can be taken to extremes, twisted or made into some sort of zealotry. Implying that Mormons are just more prone to believe weird culty stuff is not a particularly nuanced analysis of what the heck is going on with these people.”
