40 years in the pulpit needs a reboot
I realize Pastor Nelson has been in the pulpit a long long time and I doubt he gets any real feedback from the congregation he founded. He should have one of his professors from Dallas review his style. He talks incessantly to the audience by name, are you with me time after time he says. He should not comment on elected officials. He is sarcastic and runs thru the Bible with pop quizzes for his staff or friends. He should stay on point and expound the scripture. If he candidates today I doubt he would be hired at most churches his size. I loved the old Tommy Nelson on Song of Solomon, Romans & church history. Today he needs a refresh, reboot or retire. The pandemic has given him license to rave one hour 7 minutes rather than deliver a professional message. He should listen to Swindoll, NacArthur or others his age and update himself. Nelson 2.0 would be much better “ Are you with me Tommy”. Jody Humber Phoenix,AZ

I used to love pastor but after hearing him say he supports Donald Trump, I can’t follow the teachings of someone who would follow such a racist, sexist, homophobic, bigoted liar. The opposite of everything Jesus wanted us to be. These are the worst of our times.

I love to listen to Tom teach the word. He explains everything in a way that anyone can understand. Thank you for this wonderful ministry.

Pastor Nelson, the work Christ has done through him is probably best explained this way: Transparent, sold out, humble, realistic, hilarious, faithful, TRIED, brandished, pulverized, melded together, refined, hammered, sharpened, valley dweller, mountain climber, an inspiration to his brothers...Read full review »
