Brilliant
I’ve been working my way through the broadcasts and, although I still like to listen to the show “live”, I can honestly say that it’s more interesting to listen to them after many years have passed: the politician who says he/she has no ambition to be Prime Minister; the pop star destined to have an early death, who talks poignantly about his hopes for the future; the actor who is hoping for a defining role. Hindsight allows us to know how life turned out for them all, which makes the programmes even more fascinating. By the way, Kirsty Young and Sue Lawley, in my opinion, asked the best questions!
