Creosote & Molasses
Hands down the most interesting show my ears have stumbled upon in years. Having spent many a moon in our beloved Joshua Tree, both as visitor and resident, Ken absolutely tags a rusty nail into the mysterious heart of the desert. His love and appreciation for the Southwest desert landscapes, and the characters/stories/mysteries that abound there is heartfelt and sincere. Perfect mix of still moments, soundscapes floating in the distance, and a Tom Waits meets Steven Wright grumble of a voice. Suitable for numbskull tourists and true desert denizens alike. Try listening on a long drive through the middle of nowhere.
