“As a fan of PW since 1981 I’ll admit that when I first saw this podcast being mentioned before the first episode I was a little sceptical and didn’t even give it a chance - feeling it was (aptly) a little desperate. How wrong can you be? Very very wrong it turns out.
I decided to tune in to the tufty episode to hear this legend give his take on PW and not only thoroughly enjoyed his input but Dan’s obvious enthusiasm, not to mention knowledge on the subject at hand. I’ve enjoyed it so much that in literally 2-3 weeks I’ve started at the beginning and am now listening to episode 62 with Jon Abnett. My two favourite episodes so far are the ones with Aziz and Kathryn Williams - both hugely funny people.
Like PW’s ability to get you to seek out new music etc - this podcast has been doing exactly the same.
A thoroughly enjoyable podcast with a really dedicated and knowledgeable presenter who presents this in such a passionate and professional manner”
