Listen now
Description
Claire Taggart has been named for the Paralympics GB squad in Boccia. Claire talks brilliantly about the sport of Boccia and what's needed to be good at it. Claire also gives a great account of the difficulties the sport has had during lockdown and how they've done their best to overcome them. Boccia is generally played by players who need high levels of support in their lives. Claire is from Larne in Northern Ireland. She has her own business as well as quite a few pets including six tortoises with some very unsual names and a dog called Rio! Thanks for listening and downloading.
