A packed crowd gathered for the debate on India’s politihus and economy - why should we care?  KÅKÅ|nomics host many debates to a broad audience how they see the world develop. Joining economists are psychologists, technologists, philosophers, historians, journalists, artists, politicians and comedians. This year they had a strong focus on India.  The timing was perfect as India, the world's fifth largest economy in the world, is likely to overtake Japan to become the world's third-largest economy with a GDP of USD 7.3 trillion by 2030.
