“My favorite podcast in a while. It centers on a single detective, telling stories, so if you don’t care for him, this podcast won’t work for you. Fortunately for me, I feel he is worthwhile listening to. Start with the first episode: his recounting of his first case (how shocking it was, how hard the other detectives seemed, how much it affected him) was very self-aware and touching - he reveals a side of detectives, dealing emotionally with the most horrifying crimes, that we don’t usually get to see. I hope the podcast continues in this vein.”
