Voice acting not good
The production value is good, but the voice acting (specifically the narrator) is really distracting and unnecessarily intense. For true crime, the best podcasts report the facts. The urgency and speed the narrator delivers with is overtly sensationalistic, and the writing at times employs corny metaphors. Also unnecessary was the whole bit with the screaming and sound effects. The style is like a horror podcast. Deliver an account of what happened and let listeners come to their own informed conclusions.

The story is twisted and interesting, but the voice actors aren’t great…the natural pauses they try to mimic from the real people are so incredible awkward that it’s painful to listen to. The male voice actors are fine, but the female actors need some work.
