Could be better
As an avid true crime listener the first thing I noticed was the tone of this show. It lacks reverence and compassion. The person telling the story seems more interested in the drama of the story rather than in the individual who was murdered. I don’t like that. He also takes a lot of liberties when talking about members of the community. He talks about people as if they are just part of “his” podcast and not actual people. It’s disheartening. You can tell true crime stories with reverence, compassion and nuance. Karen and Georgia taught me that.

More reviews of Devil Town
Too much info at once. The first 3 episodes could’ve been better and more thoroughly explained in 5, if the reporter/narrator slowed down.

Can we start a Go Fund Me to get her record cleared?!

I almost tapped out when the Satanic Panic started reading but the podcast came through. I do hope the victims of that corrupt investigator, foster family and CPS are exonerated and receive reparations. It is a travesty!
