A very real poker podcast
I really love this podcast, DGAF gives a brutally honest slice of his life. You hear the raw emotion of a man who can’t afford to have many losing sessions set off by surprisingly tender moments with his kids that he obviously loves very much. All this slotted in between hand histories that are high in character but low in combinatorics and equity analysis. If you are a regular poker player you will relate to the players and their life choices, and probably empathise with the road DGAF has taken to get to where he is. Personally, I have made some of the same mistakes and have seen many friends fall prey to lifestyle creep, responsibilities, running bad and then debt, but without the ability to have the same insight into their problems. The podcast is rough around the edges and would be more polished with a bit of editing, but I found the lack of cuts have made for some beautiful and painful moments that wouldn’t have come over the same way if edited. I look forward to hearing the rest of this journey. Much love and run good DGAF

DGAF is just like the rest of us. He’s in a struggle to get through each day. He’s a good guy and easy to relate to and cheer for.

from someone who just gets it. Not just poke, but life. Rooting for DGAF for years from 2+2 forums, and it has been great to finally connect a compassionate voice to match the wise words. Rooting for you to save the princess soon, and when it happens, I will be happy to remember that maybe my...Read full review »
