Description
This audio drama portrays a web of alliances, secrets, and power struggles within a rural Ugandan village, as the characters navigate the threat of the raiders and their own internal divisions. The main characters are:
Epolon : Father to Papa, secretly collaborating with raiders that have been terrorizing the village
Toto/Lucy : Papa's wife, who is critical of Epolon and aware of his shady dealings.
Papa : a respected man who is trying to maintain order and protect the villagers.
Okurut : Has a mental health condition involving a dissociative identity disorder, also known as a "split personality" or "multiple personality disorder." Okurut's condition stems from traumatic experiences, His "imaginary friend" James is a manifestation of one of Okurut's alternate personalities - a separate identity that has formed as a coping mechanism.
