Definitely the best Twin Peaks PodCast (migth be biased as also from UK)
“Diane, it is 10:48PM February 9th in the seaside town of Bournemouth and I have just submitted a review of Diane podcast…” Diane sits alongside great competition such as Twin Peaks Unwrapped and Deer Meadow Radio, yet stands out with 4 hosts’ almost Cooper-esque enthusiasm whilst analysing all episodes of the series. It is great to listen as Rosie, Adam, Bob and Mark apply their esoteric knowledge, ranging from Anthropological Academia to (partiucularly exciting) Tarot interpretations, even combing through the episodes from season 2 that are often regarded by fans as weaker and finding sparks of value there. And they have fun whilst doing this. Through discussing Twin Peaks, they reference such a vast and intriguing array of sources that it makes you eager to dig further into the subjects they explore. Basically, as Rosie points out, if you want to be more like Cooper (or is it Windom Earle, really) and uncover the hidden truths of the world - anthropology might maybe perhaps be the way there. All in all, thoroughly enjoy Diane, and their enthusiasm for Dick Tremayne. But I could be biased, being only a few horus drive from the “seaside town of Brighton”.

This is a very excellent podcast. Only on the Episode 4 chapter but am binge listening. Looking forward to some insights into season 2 and beyond. Loving the insights into hair. Would highly recommend it, whilst enjoying some doughnuts and coffee, black as midnight on a moonless night.

This is the smartest, most insightful Twin Peaks commentary I've found. It's interested in TP as a work of art on its own terms, and sincerely and seriously explores ideas that arise from the work. No pretense about being insiders, no celeb worship, no fan nonsense.Read full review »
