Description
Claudia Weekes from the Organized Homemaker is joining Janey again!  Claudia Weekes is a Master Gardener and registered dietitian from Georgia. Claudia’s husband was in a car accident a few years ago which left him paralyzed and with a traumatic brain injury. Claudia’s husband loved gardening before the accident so she was determined to get him back out there, but this time needed to think about accessibility when planning their new space.  Join Janey and Claudia as they discuss some great things to think about when planning an accessible garden like wide pathways for wheelchairs, raised beds to prevent bending over, special tools and more! Claudia wanted to ensure there wasn’t a place in the garden he couldn’t access and is sharing her insight with all of us!
