“Although I have lost interest in the show, I do keep up with this podcast. It’s seems that The Curse of Oak Island has become more of a money making scheme that goes on and on for financial advantage. I just wish Rick and Marty would just do the “Big Dig” and stop teasing us. I mean in truth, if they just did the Dig, Prometheus would have my attention back Post-Haste. Even if the Dig took 3 years, I’d be willing to tune in again and be an avid watcher. If they really wanted to find the “Treasure” (Though there’s probably nothing down there anyways, save for some more unexplored searcher tunnels) they would have no problem finding anything of value that still remains with a Big Dig venture. I’m sick and tired of the loose cannon comments and the annoying over exaggeration of the producers. I honestly prefer “Lost Gold of World War 2” much more; and unlike TCOOI, it is actually proven fact that Yamashita did indeed hide a vast treasure in the possible Trillions. At least Yamashitas treasure is backed up by true historical events that are irrefutable, even if most of it has already been discovered.
As I stated before, I love this podcast even through I find the show an over hyped annoyance. This podcast is the only thing I keep up with when it comes to anything to do with the show. I recommend Lost Gold of World War 2 instead. But, this podcast is incredibly entertaining, and is my only link to the “Oak Island Mystery.”
5 stars for this podcast; 2 stars for the show itself.”
