Brexit may be the most painful blow, but the entire EU is currently witnessing a renationalization of policy making which questions the future of the European project. However, in the wake of Brexit, Europe seems to be pulling together – and the renationalization trend could in fact bridge the critical gap between technocracy and eurosceptic populations, says Fabrizio Tassinari, senior researcher at DIIS.
