One film at a time Directors Notes is making obscurity a thing of the past.
Having come to Directors Notes via another route I am delighted and amazed to be the first reviewer of this most excellent 'cast. MarBelle, the presenter of Directors Notes, has an intelligent, guileless style which makes you listen and smile and draws insight and intelligent views from his line-up of directors. Every episode has something to offer artists of all persuasions, not just film makers. The quality of the interviews is matched by the breadth and depth of the films and animations themselves. I cannot praise the content, quality or production values of both the Directors Notes team or their interviewees output highly enough and as the show's tag line says - 'Every year there are hundreds of great films of all types from around the world that don't get the exposure they deserve. It's our job to make obscurity a thing of the past, one film at a time.' They succeed every time. This review is partly taken from my review of Directors Notes posted only last night on my site www.moongold.me.uk - serendipitous indeed.

Amazing podcast, totally informative and a great interview style by the host. I enjoy the diverse range of guests and the broad sense of cinema presented. This is probably one of the best film-related podcasts on iTunes and I look forward to each new episode with great anticipation.
