Interesting history from a woke host
I’ve listened to this podcast for years, appreciating the interest in the company that Walt built. During COVID, a heavier news and update segment really leaned into a woke perspective of the host. You can easily skip these episodes or chortle at the biased, unshielded opinions of the host that he can’t help but include. History is best served from a neutral position but, in the end, this is one man’s opinion/history podcast.

More reviews of Disney History Institute Podcast
I’m a lifelong Disney fan, and have read many books in Walt and his work, yet I never fail to learn some detail or hear some story I’ve never encountered before. Todd does an amazing job of research and storytelling; I’ve been listening for a while now and have loved every episode.

This guy knows his Disney but it’s so annoying when he realizes he is speaking “too normal” and has to bring back the Casey Kasem in nauseam.

DHI has been an incredible resource for Disney history fans, and now they have their own podcast! Keep the legacy truthful. This is for fans of Walt, animation, and theme parks.
