“I listen to this pod once in a while, but I think I’m going to stop. As an LGBTQ+ family, we were excited to find this pod at first, but it’s not one of the better Disneyland podcasts.
First, the opening music is so loud and aggressive and makes it difficult to even hear what they are saying at first.
Second, the hosts have a little bit of a passive aggressive dynamic at times, and one of them uses a baby voice that makes my skin crawl.
And finally, they are kind of judgy about other people at Disneyland. Their most recent episode about “Disneyland complaints” was the last nail in the coffin for me. Some points, like people talking or recording on rides, I totally agree with. But they are also complaining about people complaining about how expensive Disneyland is - which feels really unhinged. The fact is, these guys took out LOANS to join Club 33, but are admonishing folks for being upset over the nickel and diming at DL. Idk. They just seem out of touch.”
