News: New details have been released for the next Disneyland After Dark event! Star Wars Nite tickets went on sale for Inspire level Magic Key Holders Tuesday, February 20th, with other Magic Key Holder pre-sales happening on Wednesday and Thursday the 21st and 22nd. The general public can get tickets starting Friday, February 23 no earlier than 9am Disneyland time. There will be a new “notify me” option for the virtual queue that will email you when your window to order has arrived. Guests will join Mickey and Minnie in a march down Main Street ending at Sleeping Beauty Castle with a group photo and galactic projections on the castle. A Star Wars Lightsaber Instructional will take place at “it’s a small world” mall, a Galactic Dance Party will be on Main Street, Captain Phasma and her Stormtroopers will be in Tomorrowland, and finally there will be new places and faces available for photo opportunities. – https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2024/02/new-details-revealed-for-disneyland-after-dark-emstar-wars-em-nite/ Some Disneyland Cast Members have joined a union. The Cast Member union effort calling itself “Magic United” will be represented by the Actors’ Equity Association – a union who currently represents performers and stage managers at Disney World, Broadway, and in many live theater productions in the US. Magic United will include entertainment cast members, which includes theatrical, parade, and character performers. There are some attractions that are coming back soon. The Astro Orbiter is being reassembled for a March 15th reopening, the Mark Twain is finally wrapping up it’s extensive refurbishment and should be transporting guests this weekend. The new sign for the location better fits in with the Big Hero 6 San Fransokyo theming just steps away.
