Decent storytelling, host’s speech is weird
As my title says, the stories are decent. This is one of those podcasts that you can put in the background while you do some thing else. Sometimes the stories are riveting, other times I completely spaced out and I have no idea what they’re talking about. My main reason for reading it the way I did it is the host boys. He has a really strange speech cadence. I have heard similar cadences on YouTube, and I wonder what the deal is? The quality of his voice is decent but the way he talks is grading, with this weird tonal up-and-down that does not really work with English. I would recommend that he listens to himself speak, and maybe work on that? The people who tell the stories are OK though.

I really like this podcast. But some narrators are just too much.

The stories are good and “disturbing”. However, I can’t handle the narrator’s voice and narration style. He sounds like a 15-year old kid reading a speech from his cue cards, word for word, while over-annunciation each word. Very choppy style, and it also sounds like his mouth is dry.
