“The past two years of my life have been a tremendous rollercoaster of what I believe to be the beginning of a new stage in my life. We all have them. Those doubts, the moments where you don’t feel like you’re good enough or even know where you are going in the future, let alone tomorrow. Traumatic deaths, to getting engaged to having a new baby have all amounted to one thing in my mind. Depression. Last year, Stacey gave me a book for my birthday. Big magic. Talking about using your creativity to your advantage. Since I started listening to your podcast, I have been more active in my home life, reading again, painting again, WRITING AGAIN. Which is huge for my mental health considering I’m in the process of starting a blog. You have reminded me that I am enough, I don’t have to live up to societal standards in order to succeed. I can be me, cookie crumbs and all. Believing I can achieve the goals I set for myself and acquire the satisfaction of knowing its 100% genuine.
