Genuinely brilliant
If you only listen to one SCOTUS podcast, make it this one. Dan and Will offer great insights and do a good job of teasing out the best possible arguments for each side of an issue. Fair and even-handed, though I will say Will does a better job of persuading me of the merits of originalism than Dan does of persuading me of the merits of squishy living-constitutionalism or whatever. And I say this as a liberal whose sympathies lie with liberal outcomes in most cases…

Dan has certainly gotten pricklier as the conservative victories have racked up (the “cottage industry” line, as someone else pointed out, seemed a bit mean-spirited)but I still look forward to every podcast. Could Prof. Baude speak up slightly more, especially at the end of his sentences? He tends to start to lower his volume, which makes it hard to make out his entire thought, even at maximum volume.
