“I’ve been a follower for the last year of NLS. When I seen that there was a new podcast I jumped to check it out. Especially given that it appears NDE is the sole theme which is my favorite.
I’ve some mixed reviews about it so far. I find the Sherman Oaks style effects not only too loud but distracting. This is just trying too hard. I’m not sure if lowering the volume or eliminating them entirely would be better. Maybe on YT these wouldn’t be so obnoxious as on podcast.
Also, there’s been a running theme lately of sensationalism in the titles. Most recently, the NLS podcast had an interview titled that the NDE’r had predicted Trump assassination 2 years in advance. During the episode I was distracted by Alex interrupting with multiple mmhhmm’s almost out of annoyance. Only to end the episode with no predictions about Trump assassinations, rather, claims about JFK. These titles are bordering on obnoxious sensationalism that takes away from the reasons I come here. Alex, there’s not a lot you’re doing here that you cannot get elsewhere. Please, please, stop with clickbate style tiles and overuse of fillers. Just keep it simple and real and people will continue to come. This direction is pushing me as a listener away.”
