They are both charming intelligent women with great senses of humour; they both celebrate their obsession with Turkish Dizis; and they absolutely understand celebrity obsession. They don’t judge their listeners or the fandom but they are ready and able to judge what they see as a series with strengths and weaknesses. They’re both knowledgeable and do research into writers, writing styles, and the use of metaphors, mythology and symbolism in many Turkish shows. They started as friends in middle school, grew up, married, developed careers and maintained that girlish giggly spark that must have made them friends long ago. Each podcast episode has a synopsis and review of a series they are watching in real time but don’t miss their podcasts of the first show they discovered. Erkenci Kus, which has achieved international recognition as a great romantic comedy, and a fandom from over 100 countries. I found them late in that series and finally I had found a podcast which made me laugh out loud and smile constantly.”
