DL talks sports, race and politics with Jemele Hill an acclaimed American sports journalist who worked nearly 12 years for ESPN where she wrote a column for ESPN.com's Page 2 and formerly hosted ESPN's His and Hers and co-hosted Numbers Never Lie and SC6. In 2007, Hill won the inaugural McKenzie Cup. In 2018, Hill was named journalist of the year by the National Association of Black Journalists, in recognition of "a distinguished body of work with extraordinary depth, scope and significance to the people of the African Diaspora."
