Harrison is running against incumbent senator Lindsey Graham for the South Carolina U.S. Senate seat in the 2020 election. He has called for expansion of Medicaid and expanded COVID-19 relief. He is an underdog in the race, but has closed the gap in recent weeks and is given a legitimate chance to unseat Graham.
