If the hosts are genuine in their desire to “sit with” how the ending of this episode was a reveal to them, I’d invite them to listen to the excellent Time And Relative Blackness in Space podcast to hear two Black Who fans’ brilliant discussion of it. Y’all missed a staggering amount of casual violence, dog whistles, and micro aggressions. New to this podcast and this was also a bummer of a way to discover that despite having a rotating group of hosts from around the world, not a single one is a person of color.

More reviews of Doctor Who: Verity!
Having listened to quite a few Doctor Who podcasts, I can honestly say that Verity! is my favorite. Smart, focused, and good-humored, these women consistently deliver the Who love.

Really good to hear a different perspective on Dr Who, and a must for all of us who also think we are intelligent female fans!

The Verity gang feel like a nice bunch of friends I hang out with each week. They are all smart and opinionated in a positive and constructive way and I love hearing their views, even when I disagree with them.
