“Loved season 1 - with Jason Moon. Interesting unusual topic, intelligently and thoughtfully covered. I’d have left a 5* review based on that alone.
But season 2 was all wrong. When dealing with domestic violence, the opioid epidemic, poverty and death, there’s a tone that needs to be taken. This hosts tone was constantly close to absolute delight at her own good fortune in having discovered a “story”. Treating a tragedy like a thriller. Her questions were at times so painfully naive - she so clearly did not understand the circumstances of the people she was dealing with . And the whole thing was just not her story to tell- her attempt to “discover” an autopsy report a family had tried to keep private was disgusting, as was the attempt at suspense around his death, and the details of further domestic violence.”
