Just days earlier, a horrific car attack in Zhuhai, Guangdong province, claimed the lives of 35 people and left 43 seriously injured.  These incidents have prompted China's leadership to call for increased preventative measures and conflict resolution efforts.  However, questions linger about the underlying causes of such violence and the efficacy of these proposed solutions.
