Description
In this second episode in English, I have the pleasure to welcome Ilham Halib from the Devoteam Foundation, who helps us to better understand skills-based sponsorship.
Skills-based sponsorship is an initiative which aims to put employees of a company at the service of a social cause
In 2018, about 20% of companies were already turning to skills-based sponsorship, when that figure was only 11% in 2015. The health crisis and lockdown periods acted as an accelerator with a demand that tripled in 2020.
For the past 15 years, the Devoteam Foundation has used its tech skills to support non-profit organizations addressing challenges of digital mutation.
Thanks to Ilham’s tips, you will learn:
Why skills-based sponsorship is a great tool to strengthen your organization and build its sustainability;
That it is important to have proper ownership of your project to make it successful;
Dos and don’ts when requesting support for a skills-based project.
