Rodney Alcala, known as the "Dating Game Killer" after a 1978 appearance on the show, was convicted of 8 murders that happened between 1971 and 1979. He died in prison in 2021. A purported amateur photographer, thousands of photos were found belonging to Alcala that could be possibly linked to even more murders.
