Agreeing with what others are saying, the audio is very inconsistent. Not just when characters are speaking, but when music comes on, commercials, any change in scenes causes the volume to be extremely loud or too quiet

It’s a novella . Not a short story nor a book. Well written. Actors are doing well using their voices to develop their character with one exception. The audio is very well done. High standards.
