So far, so good
I am through episode 2 and will adjust my rating if I need to as I go. So far the story has a good setup and the voice actors are excellent. The soundscape is also quite good, though you may need to adjust volume a bit in the first two episodes. Sound can vary from too low to too high, so it may be best to use headphones or earbuds that cancel out external noise so you can feel totally engulfed in the environment of the story. As for using audio speakers… having a cinematic approach would be ideal as opposed to pumping this story out with only a single Bluetooth speaker. I highly recommend Fool & Scholar for their varying podcast lineup and great production quality. Plus I also recommend a Realm+ subscription (get it on Realm’s site) so you can listen to F&S productions with no commercials, as well as all the other great stuff Realm offers. Commercials often kill the podcast experience and can ruin stories.

However, I found the audio left a lot to be desired. I had to constantly repeat sections, adjust the volume, put on my earbuds,...Read full review »
