My own history with T2K stretches back to the mid-80s, and it was always one of my favorites — the game setting is dark and morally challenging, and the mechanics are brutally unforgiving. But after listening to this podcast (just finished Ep 60) I am unable to imagine playing this game any other way; beyond the simple game mechanics and dice-rolling, the players are incredibly adept at the narrative work. At the same time the GM is doing a *ton* of work behind the scenes, but moves everything along seamlessly and (from our perspective) effortlessly.
The entire crew should be congratulated for crafting a magnificent listening experience. I am truly jealous at how much fun you guys sound like you’re having.”
