“Let me start by saying that the podcast as a whole is good. Great for young women who are in their teens. I’m in my 20s and grew up watching dance moms which I feel is the reason why many of the girls/moms who were on the show and have podcasts, automatically have listenership. With that being said, in my opinion, this is probably the best one of all of them. I’ve been listening since they had their first show “Double take” (I believe that was the name) and they’re pretty consistent in content and quality. Kelsey is my favorite of the two hosts, but Brynn is good too. Kelsey’s personality and perspective on life reminds me of myself. She keeps it real. I also feel that Kelsey has a great sense of generalization. I can’t pinpoint an exact example right now but over the last few episodes, Brynn would say something that comes off as covert judgment and Kelsey would immediately follow up by saying “it’s okay if you do/don’t.” Brynn is speaking her truth about her feelings and views which is what she should do, but in the same sense I admire Kelsey for being a buffer as well. I admire that both girls are in tune to their faith and beliefs at a young age. I know it’s not meant to be that deep but usually politics and religion spark unwarranted outrage all around and given the time we’re in, the host may want to tread lightly. One can say if you don’t like it, don’t listen and that’s true, but it also goes to my earlier point about generalization and appealing to everyone.”
