How not to make a podcast
Even with hours of interviews and an extremely intriguing, active, unsolved true crime murder story, they somehow still produced a boring podcast. That takes true skill. I’ve been listening for over 2 hours, and I don’t know any more about what happened than I did when I read the summary of the podcast. I understand if it’s still active and they haven’t released a ton of info, but if that’s the case, maybe don’t make an hour-long podcast series about it! If that’s not bad enough, the podcast also has 3 different hosts who randomly take turns doing interviews on location and then talking to each other somewhere else. You guys know we can’t see you, right? I never know who’s talking. Maybe it’ll get better later, but for now, skip it.

The commentary is so unnecessary! I can process it myself I don’t need to listen to the hosts breaking it down. I really don’t care how Andrew’s parents would have reacted or mike himself. Successful true crime podcasts stick to the facts. If it keeps up you’ll lose me.

Gave it a listen, but sometime into the second episode the realization hit me. Every moment is going to be milked to death before proceeding to the next point of the timeline of the story. It ends up falling flat.
