Lots of words, little affect
I’m well-aware that the crucial facts of this case-manner of death, location, etc.-haven’t been released to the public. But that doesn’t account for the wordy, exhaustive, long-winded episodes that could be condensed into 15 minutes rather than 40. Just like a book, if I find myself going back over and over again because the content just isn’t holding my attention, that’s not quality content! But I’m not sure what I was expecting, HLN is notorious for this. I was a fan of “Something’s Killing Me” but was always so irritated by the constant rehashing of the facts they’d JUST GONE OVER prior to the commercial break. I want to be a fan but unless they start focusing on apt, affective storytelling, I’m not sure I’ll be able to drudge through the entire series.

Episode 1 was excruciating. Too many voices - too many interviews. So boring it was a struggle to get through it. I won’t be coming back for episode 2.

This is just really uncomfortable, too invasive . Stop asking everyone how they felt at every moment . I’m cringing .....
